A little about me:
Qualified in Carpentry and Joinery since 1996, and an experienced painter and decorator, I take pride in my work and constantly strive to achieve results of the highest standard.
I am careful, considerate and I am well known for my attention to detail. I believe in leaving you feeling more than satisfied with any project I complete, which is why my seemingly rare ethic is that I treat every job as if it were my own house.
Previously well established in St Albans, I have recently moved to West London meaning I can now cover Chiswick, Hammersmith, Ravenscourt Park, Acton, Fulham and the surrounding areas.
A little about what I do:
Firstly, I can save you money. Many people often employ 2 different companies when they discover that they have rot or decay present in a timber feature of their property. Whether it's a window, door, frame, porch, gate, fascia, etc... they will pay for one company to repair the area and another to paint it afterwards. As a joiner and a painter I can complete both stages in one go - a full and proper restoration service.
I specialise in renovating sliding sash windows.
I am experienced in both interior and exterior painting.

Various jobs
We employed Jim to recondition our Victorian sash windows - some of which we thought were beyond repair. Jim completely over-hauled the woodwork bringing them back to their original glory and decorated to look as new. We also had the wood in our Victorian garage door refurbished to look as new. We were so pleased with Jim's perfectionist attention to detail that we had him back to decorate our hall, front door to match the garage, bedroom and sitting room. Jim was a joy to have working in our house as he always left everything tidy and clean. He never rushed the preparation work and the finish on everything is top class.

Jim has done several jobs for us. His workmanship is impeccable, he is thoughtful and we would not hesitate to use him again and recommend to others.
Heritage property
I highly recommend Jim and his carpentry skills. He has renovated a number of very rotten / damp sash windows over the last few years and the quality of his workmanship has been great. He takes great care in his work and will be calling on his services again on our next project!
Front door and living room
Trustworthy and quality worker. His attention to detail is much to be admired, which is a quality that is hard to find these days. Has recently completed two jobs for us at a very competitive price and we are very pleased with the quality of workmanship. Would recommend to anyone, as indeed we have already done to friends and relatives.
